I’ve been through a lot, both physically and mentally, over the past five years and this tattoo represents my ability to remain strong despite everything.

“If you’re a bird, I’m a bird” on my left rib from the film The Notebook, done by Positive Tattoos in Baltimore, MD. I believe finding and loving another individual in this vast world is one of the most special things anyone can experience. And once a person does find that significant other, the two essentially become one. If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.
My first tattoo. It starts out with a heart that symbolizes my once passion for nursing and the ECG lines symbolizes the challenges I faced in the Philippines and but then flat lines meaning I failed at becoming a nurse but starts up again then ECG makes out the words faith. The challenges I went through were very difficult and life changing but no matter how difficult the challenges were I still have faith in myself. Without going through those challenges I wouldn’t have found my passion to major in psychology and become a therapist. Life is full of challenges and you can’t over come them all, the best you can do is just learn from your mistakes and have faith in yourself.
“Someday came suddenly” Done by Joe at Skin Ethics in Girard Ohio. I like this because my entire life I’ve been wishing for the future to come sooner. I’m finally where I want to be in life and it feels like it just happened overnight. It’s also the name of my favorite Attack Attack album.
These are my knuckle tattoos. I got all of them done at once and let me tell you….OUCH! Haha, the bigger of the knuckles didn’t hurt quite as bad as the spaces above my finger nails…WOW did that kill.
They were done around Lubbock, TX.
I got the word “BELIEVE” because i have never been very confident, and have always been very insecure about myself. I have been through a lot..but unlike some, it has made me stronger. Recently things have gone great in my life, hence “believing” in myself and others, more.

This is my tattoo of a quote from the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It reads: “And in that moment I swear we were infinite”
My artist helped a heap with picking the font and positioning, and we ended up going with this one he drew freehand. I’m incredibly happy with it and just want to show it off all the time!
